CLUCH & FRICTION PLATES
The clutch friction plate is a consumable part and must be renewed regularly even when used correctly. Old friction plates will lead to engine failure and other troubles. Fuel consumption will also be affected. It is not possible to disassemble the clutch inside the engine directly to check the friction plate, but the condition of the plate can be estimated by the distance on the odometer, the running condition of the engine, and the rider’s style of riding.
